Giant Carriage Clock

This superb English Carriage clock originally manufactured in 1983 with a unique serial number 463. The movement is polished brass in a Gold-plated case with opening doors at the front and back of the movement.

This clock shows the Moonphase, calendar month and date. The Moonphase dial is hand painted, the main chapter ring, month and date chapter rings are all hand silvered and protected with a fine coat of lacquer.

The clock strikes on the hour and has a repeater mechanism for the strike. This is an 8-day power reserve, with a pivoted detent escapement.

The clock is mounted on a spinning table, this makes it easier to move the clock for winding.

The Giant Carriage clock has been fully serviced and refurbished, the new owner will be given the Certificate of Authenticity and Guarantee. This clock is available to view via zoom or in person at our workshop. Please enquire below to arrange an appointment.
