Rosemary Clock

Rosemary Clock finished in Platinum, originally made in December 2022. The Rosemary clock is a miniaturised version of the Great Wheel Skeleton Clock and was designed to include an integral bevelled glass case and base. Every part, except for the pallet, is made from either Gold or Platinum plated Brass or Stainless Steel, which will eliminate any tarnishing problems caused by high humidity.

Just like the Great Wheel Skeleton Clock, the Main Wheel has 288 teeth, which are cycloidal tooth form, and makes just one revolution daily. The escapement is a 'Graham Deadbeat' controlled by a 'silk' suspension and Invar pendulum. The movement is fitted with Maltese Cross stop work to achieve the most accurate timekeeping and the clock will run for a full 8 days.

Great Wheel Skeleton Clock - Arch Frame

This elegant Great Wheel Skeleton clock was originally manufactured in February 2001. The movement is gold plated and sits on a white marble base. It is protected by a glass shade with two holes, one for winding and one for setting the time. The escapement is a ‘Graham Deadbeat’ controlled by a ‘silk’ suspension pendulum and requires winding every 8 days.

The great wheel has 288 teeth and makes only one revolution daily. This drives the centre wheel with a diameter slightly larger than the bezel, thus, when viewed from the front, frames the printed dial.

The Great Wheel Skeleton clock has been fully serviced and refurbished, the new owner will be given the Certificate of Authenticity and Guarantee. This clock is available to view via zoom or in person at our workshop. Please enquire below to arrange an appointment.

Three Train Skeleton Clock

This magnificent chiming Skeleton Clock is the result of months of painstaking hand work. Each plate is individually cut out of solid brass, edge filed, papered smooth, burnished, and gilded before being built into the finished clock. Originally made in July 1986, the unique serial number 608.

The plates are finished in gold the internal movement is polished brass. The movement has an 8-day power reserve.

The chime train operates a pinned drum and hammer assembly which can be set to play Westminster or a choice of Whittington and St Michael chimes on an octave of bells from John Taylor Bell Founders, whilst the striking train sounds the hours on a ninth tenor bell.

The movement is sat on a white marble plinth, placed on a mahogany base. The glass shade has an opening door at the front.

Eight Bell Chiming Bracket Clock

This superb English Chiming Clock with beautiful hand engraved back plate and dial is the most obvious visible sign of the very high quality of the entire movement and case. Originally made in 2001. The plates are finished in gold the internal movement is polished brass.

The movement has triple fusee spring driven through handmade chains, each being 6 feet long. The movement is made with quarter chiming on 8, cast and hand tuned bells, whilst the hour is struck on a ninth and larger bell and the chimes can be switched between Westminster and Whittington.

The whole piece, being regulated by a recoil anchor escapement and Invar pendulum, is capable of very good time keeping.

The arched case is made from solid walnut and with movement complications comprising of a calendar, date indexing lever, mock pendulum and hour repeat button.

Giant Carriage Clock

This superb English Carriage clock originally manufactured in 1983 with a unique serial number 463. The movement is polished brass in a Gold-plated case with opening doors at the front and back of the movement.

This clock shows the Moonphase, calendar month and date. The Moonphase dial is hand painted, the main chapter ring, month and date chapter rings are all hand silvered and protected with a fine coat of lacquer.

The clock strikes on the hour and has a repeater mechanism for the strike. This is an 8-day power reserve, with a pivoted detent escapement.

The clock is mounted on a spinning table, this makes it easier to move the clock for winding.

The Giant Carriage clock has been fully serviced and refurbished, the new owner will be given the Certificate of Authenticity and Guarantee.
